Past month has been spent with people i really cherish and love. I'm so glad to be able to spend quality time with them & these precious moments are always gonna be a part of me.

Been spending some quality time with the friends and family.

I love discovering new things about life, change in perspectives and just new discoveries about myself as well. And i think that travelling, above all else always makes way for new thoughts to be birthed, new experiences abroad shape our mentality and way of life. Severe wanderlust.

I'm so happy to be able to make the most of my summer holidays, visit new countries that I've never been to, open up my perspectives about different things in life. Even sitting on the beach and watching the sunset inspires me that there are so many beautiful things in life we have yet to uncover but we ourselves have to be the one there to create that unique experience.

So yeah, just decided to pack my bags & meet the Malaysians in KL for good catchup :) Leaving tomorrow! I'm sure this would be another good experience.
Am going to Korea in two weeks. Life is complete as of now :)

Summer Days 2013.

After two months, I decide to dedicate my post to my summer days in Singapore.

A year went by just like that, it's pretty hard to imagine and actually believe. Many things, people, circumstances change. But I know that God's love will never change. His presence has been really impactful and upon me in these two weeks and I'm so glad to be able to bask in His love, return to the first love. Life without God would be plain miserable.

I thought I was stronger and could handle more than what was given/ thrown at me. But the knowledge of someone being behind you just makes everything better. The strength and comfort that He gives is more than anyone could ever be capable of giving.

I used to fill my life with almost everything except Christ as I thought that my life was pretty complete. Having been a christian for 21 years of my life, there are stagnant stages where I get lost in the middle of the road somewhere but He knows and would lead and guide me along the way.

So a brief update on my life over here. Its great to be back. With the company of people i love, miss and hold close to my heart.

But somehow it all feels different, I don't know if its because I know I have this other part of my life abroad but it just feels so surreal. Everything does.

Four months is certainly too long a break and tbh, I do miss Liverpool.
The amazing feeling of being contented and happy with simple things. The fresh air I breath in, the culture, the slow paced and relaxing life. Well, I do treat it as my second home. And my, it feels like I've been away for awhile.

:)

Novelty keeps me alive and i somehow need to sustain myself through it, or I get bored real easily. So Liverpool is a decision I would never regret. In my entire life. Nowww, I'm pretty much looking forward to Hongkong and Bali.

A chapter closed in my life & when year two comes, it'd be another experience once again. I can't wait.

Post exam- gastronomic adventures :)

Been a pretty great week i must say :) Nothing can get me down, its all about the mindset! If you're weak, you'd let things get to you easily!

So exam ended on thursday and had a post celebration meal with Sarah on Friday for lunch, we had this enormous pizza and salad buffet, and as if that was not enough, I got an ice cream with cookie dough. That was heaven. Shopped for a bit, and yeah it was a pretty good time :)

Brought her to FF and I'm glad she enjoyed it!

I've never had such good hotpot anywhere, which doesn't give me a stomachache, it was 20quid but worth it for the good catchup with Janice and Connie. Crabs. Squid. Prawns. My life is complete.

I really enjoyed Michael's party, he's such a darling & likewise, his mates are all awesome and friendly people. Both times we went to his flat, a few different people each time but all as nice! Enjoyed it a lot.

Half price four seasons on Sunday! Omg. Damn happy, couldn't resist tomyum goong, and thai fishcakes though i'm going there in end may. I can't freaking wait. Gonna be some awesome time spent with my best friends :)
And the fried rice that I've tried in Hk before , sucha wonderful dish but we did not get the name, its actually Fujian fried rice and its the best thing. Amazing flavors bursting in your mouth :p

Quite a bit happened last week which did not leave me too happy, and me being the usual defensive me, if you ever look at my previous blogs. I'm not afraid to shoot anyone down if they say something that offends me? But this is a good lesson learnt, was at frontline when God spoke to me, as christians we're supposed to be like his testimony so I shall let these things slide and put my focus and priority on God. I know that if I want to fight back, sorry, too bad for whoever. No one in particular, just a rather discouraging week generally. But then again, its my blog I get to rant!

All four incidents pissed me off big time. Or shall I say, its just not my day. But this person was like seriously, killed my respect for him entirely. In front of everyone, literally the whole audience had to say something like oh, no wonder she wasn't listening to me on S.day. Like what the shit, seriously in all fairness if that affects you so badly, I'd appreciate if you come to me personally and talk it out no reason nor need to do that in front of everyone. And hello, look at your status.

And I thought it was the culture here in the UK to speak up and out, be straightforward. Looks like its not, or is it because of the environment I am in? Generally, this goes out to every single person be it in Singapore or UK or wherever. If there's something that you're not happy about, I respect that but please come up to me and clarify individually and I will be damn sure that I can give you an explanation and ease any misunderstandings. Thanks.

Day Four: Notre Dame, Bridge of Love & Moulin Rouge

Bridge Of love

aww.

Day Three in Paris:

You get to see them shops alongside the river and that was really picturesque.
I liked the atmosphere and like feeling of relaxedness as we walked down the River Seine. It was pretty amazing cause we didn't intend to find or go to the lock bridge, where people lock their love as we did not know how to get there but as we walked down the road and reached the end, there it was!

An amazing sight, thousands of locks. Romantic.

Had a really good dinner that cost me $40ish but worth it, a three course meal with escargots as starters, rump steak and yummy dessert to top it all off.

Moulin Rouge was prettier at night, lovely sight :)

But girls, don't expect hot french guys and a nice romantic ambience because its just portrayed, not really true for most areas!! But we did see some pretty hot ones on the last day in a fast food restaurant!

Gonna be one crazy week. Studying, going for bible study tomorrow, exam on thursday and then I'm free like a bird!
FF, da bin lo maybe & Michael F's birthday party at his flat on Saturday:) One hella a crazy week :) But I'm cherishing the last few days here before I fly home! Like mad.

I've decided not to have a massive birthday party already too maybe a small get together at my house and that's it cause people who care enough for you will make that effort to celebrate the special day with you.

Malaysian Night & Iron Man 3

Malaysian night was pretty interesting~
There were malaysian goodies! The pandan thing was so good and I don't even like it back home. I remember when I was young, its one of those nonya kueh that is green on top and rice at the bottom, and I'd only have the rice while sisty had the top!

It was good company, with the church people as usual! And watched some rather hilarious performances by the Malaysians.

:)

Iron Man 3 after that! I never liked action pack movies but of course, it is a must watch!! Just like The Avengers and all the other blockbusters that I may not like but a must watch. Honestly iron man 3 was really good though, exciting! But I think I prefer the dark knight.
Guys and Marvel. DC comics and whatsoever. HAHA.

I remember green lantern, the avengers, dark knight, Spiderman. Watched it all back home because the guys insisted! LOL.
