Spent last weekend at this festival for 3 days, it was quite boring because I was volunteering= no money. But i really enjoyed the food and weather and just getting away for a bit. Plus culture of course.
Shall skip talking about the roles as it was boring, the only thing I looked forward to was lunchtime.
But, as crappy as it sounds, we stayed in the hostel for 2 nights. Quite an experience. Living conditions were bad, obviously. But we met two hot germans and talked to them for a bit. Okay for half an hour. And its so interesting talking and getting to know new people.
Had dinner at KFC and there were a bunch of guys were out for their stag do and started talking to us over dinner. It was quite cool and like i definitely love the culture here. This would never happen in Asia. HAHA. So yeah went into a convenience store and chatted with the shopkeeper for a bit too! You can talk about the weather here to any English person & its a good convo starter. Or maybe he was just appalled that I wanted ice cream in the cold. Lol.
Second night in the hostel was spent talking to this old man and young lady as well about life. Quite interesting innit.
Well I'm definitely blessed or perhaps I've bumped into all the kind people here.
Was fuming last night, long story but I almost didn't make it back to Liverpool thanks to some asshole. Shall not elaborate but I was so pissed off that I was crying. And I was at the coach station when I bumped into this cleaner. He was super nice and was like very reassuring.
Then I reached Liv, and for some reason, I had no strength in my legs at all. Couldn't even stand up. The bus driver helped me to get off the bus. Walked for a bit and then I fell down I couldn't stand up and was struggling for quite a while when this man came up to me, he was a taxi driver and he sent me home without charging me. Tried to get off the cab but I fell as soon as I did, these three students were going into GTC and they helped to hold me and sent me to my doorstep. Sweet people. I'm so glad to have met such people in times that I feel like crap. :)
