New Year's Eve/ Visit to Port Sunlight

Whilst on the train to Port Sunlight

20 Mins away from Liverpool

As the picture says, The Bridge Inn

It is kind of like a ghost time because its winter

Lunch

A visit to the Lady Lever Art Gallery

It was nice with many different monuments

Had tea at the tea room after a day of exploring

The pictures pretty much sum up whatever i have to say :)
Spent the day exploring the museum, having tea & coffee ( i can say its our daily routine over the past few days ) before heading back to Liverpool.
I'm grateful for a dad that loves me so much to fly all the way here to spend time with me as he is afraid that I'd be lonely. He's going back tomorrow, boohoo. But these 10 days have been really good & I've enjoyed spending quality time with him.

Most of the times we spent together was meal times, roaming the streets & catching hk dramas together on my laptop. Simple but its a beautiful way of spending time together.

So its next year's eve in half an hour for us, and already 8 hours into nye in Singapore. I hope that everyone enjoys the last day of 2012, whoever, wherever. Because every single one deserves to be happy. I'd be spending mine at Leah's crib, staying a couple of days & having a countdown party with her mates. Pretty psyched. I know that the supper clique is spending it together, love you bunch & i hope that you guys enjoy it <3

*And nic, if you're reading this. You've been a major part of my life & I'm so grateful that God had placed you in my life.

Wishes for:
A better, simpler year with less self-created drama.
Every single one of my mates to be happy. Genuinely.
Good health for all my friends & family.
Peace, Joy, Love.

* Received affirmation from two really unexpected people today which really touched me, despite the distance. One of whom sent me a wa message, saying "i'm really glad to have a friend like you in my life" & the other tweeted, "i really miss you, who else can i pour out my heart to? I just wished you were here to lend me a listening ear."
God has indeed placed different people at different phases of my life for me to be there & hopefully, be a blessing to. I thank God for these people & how he has used them as an encouragement to me.
I remember one of my church friends, a mentor who once told me, "You are influential". I thank God for giving me the opportunity to be that friend for people & even granting me that affinity with certain people. I hope that in the coming year, I would fully maximise that potential & use that to spark off positivity in the lives of people. And I pray, that He would grant me the wisdom to use it in the right way.

By now, you may or may not have heard this story for a couple of times. But I cannot deny that his favor has been upon me, & his hand has been undeniably upon me this entire time. He has seen my through these couple of months. From the application of unis, to the settling of paperwork, to adapting to the environment, to settling in comfortably in Liverpool. He has granted me good friends here, which I'm so glad to have. Louise, Janice, Leah, Sarah, & that bunch of people that I love, the bible study bunch! All the lovely guys & girls. I must say this year, has been an interesting one. And thank God for his abundance, for enabling my parents to sponsor my education here. I love my family. My parents are indeed the greatest blessing that God has granted me, loving us so much & spoiling us. Nurturing us & shaping us. They are such a wonderful blessing to me :) And my sister, whom is always there, encouraging me no matter what. Unfazed by any circumstance/ any world shattering news that I'd bring her, she chooses to support me in whatever decision I made.
When I think about life, I can't stop thanking God for every single thing in my life. For not withholding his abundant blessings, but lavishing it. So i just want to encourage every christian, that whether you are going through good or bad times, always be grateful to God & praise Him.

This is a pretty general one, I'm going to spend time writing resolutions on the train tomorrow.
Enjoy New Year's Eve, <3
